I purchased this engraved for a gift on Valentine’s Day. I would say overall not bad, no complaints. However! I was not impressed for a company that makes such a big emphasis on their authentic craftsmanship. The quality of the leather was satisfactory, but not impressive. I saw it for the first time as he unopened it day of Valentine’s Day and the first thing that stuck out to me was the closing clasp. When you buy a lot of designer bags you understand how big of a deal the clasp is. For example, YSL , Louis Vuitton & Ferragamo are also brands that I’ve been impressed by their discreet and high quality level clasp. Balenciaga on the other hand tends to have similar clasps like this watch cash, it’s that cheap feeling silver circle magnetic button sort of enclosure. I really have no comment other than that it looks and feels cheap. The second point I would mention is that the engraving, which was complimentary & although thats appreciated, just did not look impressive either. I understand it’s an engraving machine that does it, but when I expected to see an engraving on a product from a brand that I researched post purchase and seen how much of a big deal you guys talk about craftsmanship & all that jazz I just was, not, impressed. The font was thin & slightly smaller than expected. In today’s world where everything is mass manufactured & not personalized I just expected this engraving to look like less of that, I don’t want to look at something and think “oh yeah, 100% machine made” even in the sense of its positioning it just didn’t even seem even it just seemed like it was passed through a machine with no intention whatsoever. And my final point, this is less of a complaint and just more of an observation. When he opened it and was explaining the size of it after putting his in he said he could even fit two of them in there. I am not a watch expert but I understand there is different mm sizes so essentially you guys are catering to a large varying demographic but I just dont think a single watch case should be that big and loose fitting around its one purpose that it could fit another. Honestly, I discovered this brand off Nemain Marcus & decided to purchase directly from retailer since it’s usually cheaper & my conclusion is that I just don’t think this brand reflects the values that it should even be placed in these kind of retailers, I’m thinking more like a Macys sort of brand? I’ve already broken up with the one I purchased the watch case for but probably will not get my next boyfriend a Royce product however I’m grateful for the experience and now I know
