The leather Executive Portfolio I ordered far exceeded my expectations. The British Tan leather is a beautiful warm brown and the construction of the portfolio is outstanding. I was so nervous about ordering “sight unseen” and with initials so that it could not be returned, but my fears were truly unfounded. I purchased the custom Executive Writing Portfolio (Order #48018) for my godson’s law school graduation gift. I picked it for its elegance and the appearance of the leather on the website. Once I received it in the mail, the actual product exceeded my expectations. The box added to the elegance of the leather portfolio. I have no doubt the new lawyer will be blown away!

The silver on the brown is stunning! The padfolio is sturdy and will hold its own. The brown leather is very soft and glossy while my navy one is more of a leather matte pattern. Both are stunning. Get gold or silver embossed!

The portfolio arrived and was not the leather that was shown in the photo (pebbled), so they immediately solved the problem by sending a new portfolio in the pebbled leather. Thank you so much for making this right! I only docked points because the photo still looks like the “green” color is on the seafoam spectrum, but this is a true forest green, which I’m not super jazzed about, but it will be fine. I think the photo may just be over exposed or the lighting is giving a glare. Either way, great quality, and very responsive customer service team.

I gave the portfolio as a gift, and I haven’t seen the final product yet, but I am giving a five for at least three reasons: first, the recipient seems to love it; second, Cathy, in customer service, not only answered the phone on a Saturday, but also was spectacular in answering our questions and pointing us to the custom engraver; and third, JP and Lee were on the email, provided guidance and help, and did all the custom engraving for us. One more thing: after all of that, which included us writing “See Email” under the monogram part of the order form, Gabriel emailed me on Monday saying that he hadn’t seen the email yet and wanted to make sure. How could he know that his team had already done everything by Monday morning? But still, he checked. The five stars are for the fantastic customer service. A great experience. Thank you.

I bought this product recently and the quality of the leather was fantastic. It was soft and smooth to the touch. I enjoyed the design and that you could emboss the portfolio on the bottom right hand side for a personalized effect. I haven’t used it a lot since I bought it recently so it may change with usage but a few things I thought could be improved. The pockets on the interior were very tight so was very hard to put papers in there. I did notice that when I closed the portfolio that the top cover of the portfolio was sticking out more than the bottom for some reason by like 1/4 inch so was not a lot but noticeable to me when I closed it. There was also a small indent on the back of the portfolio on the upper left hand area about the size of a pen tip. All in all, it’s a quality product but the smaller details could be improved upon I believe.
