The photos online of the “silver” color looked metallic, even sparkly. In real life the color is more like a gray, with no metallic quality. I ordered it as a gift for a family member headed off to college, so I cannot return it, there isn’t time to get a new one. The journal is otherwise beautiful, very high quality, lovely packaging and fast shipping. Just disappointed that the silver is actually gray. 🙁

This journal is an absolute pleasure to write in, the leather is buttery soft and the purple is a lovely shade, the paper is weighty and the pen that comes with it writes smoothly and has a nice balance.
